Data Usage & Tracking Policy
Understanding how CognitPulse collects and uses information to enhance your financial analysis experience while respecting your privacy choices.
You can opt out of non-essential tracking at any time using the control below.
How We Use Tracking Technologies
CognitPulse employs various tracking methods to understand how visitors interact with our financial stability analysis platform. These technologies help us improve our services and provide more relevant content about financial planning and analysis tools.
Our tracking systems monitor user behavior patterns, popular content areas, and technical performance metrics. This data guides our development priorities and helps us identify which financial analysis features provide the most value to our Australian clients.
Essential cookies required for basic site functionality cannot be disabled, as they're necessary for security, user authentication, and core website operations.
Tracking Categories We Use
Your Control Options
You have several ways to manage tracking preferences beyond our simple rejection button. Most web browsers allow you to control cookie settings through their privacy menus, where you can block third-party tracking or clear existing stored data.
Browser extensions like uBlock Origin or Privacy Badger provide additional control over tracking scripts. You can also use your browser's incognito or private browsing mode to prevent most tracking during your session.
Mobile users can adjust tracking preferences through device settings, including limiting ad tracking on iOS or opting out of personalization on Android devices.
Data Retention and Deletion
Analytical data collected through our tracking systems is typically retained for 26 months, allowing us to identify long-term trends in user behavior and platform performance. Marketing attribution data is kept for 13 months to measure campaign effectiveness across different quarters.
When you use our rejection controls, we immediately stop collecting new behavioral data and begin the deletion process for existing non-essential tracking information. Essential security and functionality data remains as required for platform operation.
Australian users can request complete data deletion by contacting our support team, and we'll process these requests within 30 days in accordance with local privacy regulations.
Third-Party Integration
Our platform integrates with several third-party services that may use their own tracking methods. Google Analytics helps us understand traffic patterns and user demographics, while our content delivery network monitors page performance across different Australian regions.
Marketing platforms like LinkedIn and Facebook may place their own tracking pixels to measure advertising effectiveness and create remarketing audiences. When you reject non-essential tracking, we disable these integrations and remove existing pixel data.
Financial data integrations used for our analysis tools operate under separate agreements and don't involve behavioral tracking of website visitors.
